Ian and I came up with a challenge for next week to get the design mush in your head to start churning. So here it is:

Design a game using only glass beads. The quantity and color are up to you. No board, no paper and pencil, nothing but the beads.

We’ll judge them at next week’s meeting!

  1. Crap! I’m just about finished with my design, but I just realized that we’re going to catch the new print of Jodorowsky’s Holy Mountain down at the Alamo tonight, so I won’t be able to show it around. Stand and Deliver uses 90 small glass beads in five colors, and fits the constraint of another (unpresented) challenge – everything fits in an Altoids tin. I’ll post the rules once I get them smoothed out a bit more – I’m looking forward to reading about everyone else’s games…
